It really depends on the size of the job. Some jobs can be done in one day. Other’s may take considerably longer.

What does the product development process look like?
The better you can define the product, the faster I can deliver. If you are not sure where to start I can help guide you through the process. Everything from defining the idea or design to prototyping and manufacturing a product. We review each phase and go over the results together. Any required changes are noted and changes are then made to the design.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
A mechanical engineering friend of mine who I also worked with started his own company and became a full time entrepreneur. He contacted me periodically to help him and his clients with projects that needed electrical expertise. The jobs continued to grow and I found myself dealing directly with his clients. As a result I decided to establish more of a professional profile for interfacing with clients and displaying my experience. That’s when I founded MMI Design LLC.
